3 Tips On Eating Gluten-free

  1. Eat a lot of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, unprocessed meats, nuts and—if tolerated—dairy products and beans.
  2. Try gluten-free grains—brown rice, wild rice, amaranth, quinoa, buckwheat, millet, sorghum and corn—and gluten-free products made from these foods or bean flours. Individual tolerances to these foods vary, though, so avoid those foods that don't agree with you.
  3. Don't eat any food or use any ingredient you suspect may have hidden gluten in it: Even a small amount can damage the small intestine. You may need to call product manufacturers to be certain.
